After Dark CHRISTMAS MARKET@ Castle Eden Village Hall TS27 4SD (Opposite the Castle Eden Inn)
This is inside & (Hopefully) outside a modern Community centre.
23 Indoor plot PLUS myself, 5-7 outdoor garden plots.
PLI Insurance, Hygiene score etc required
VIBE: Quality goods at the Christmas market, all things Christmas. Gift, Decor, cards, bakes, treats, preserves, fashion, accessories, wrapping and essentials. Business selling gift vouchers for experience, goods or services are fine too.
ABOUT THE VENUE: Castle Eden Village Hall is a large modern community hall, with lots of good light, vaulted ceiling, Castle Eden is quite a prestigious area and lots of high profile sportsmen live in the village. The hall is opposte the Castle Eden Inn which was originally the old brewery’s Flag Ship pub, its still very popular, does food.
REFRESHMENTS: There is NO CAFE at the after dark markets but there will be food stalls as well and a lovely lady in a coffee truck outside who does wide range of delicious hot drinks. There is a small kitchen there, you can make a cup of tea, warm something up etc etc
PARKING: Reasonable amount of spaces directly behind the hall AND we have use of the masonic Lodge car park next door for all of our events. You would be asked to move your vehicle to the car park right next door once unloaded to make as much room at the hall for customers who cannot walk far. Obv you can bring your car round after the 8pm cut off to load up.
- PITCH/PLOT - INDOOR & OUTDOOR FOR THIS EVENT
INDOOR generally £15 plot 8ft x 5ft, Include one table & chair(s) provided. Table is approx 6ft long x 2.5ft (1.75m x 0.75m), If you don't want a table or like to bring additional table/shelving, as long it it does not encroach on other plots, pathways or block exits its's fine. You can run it by me first if unsure. Although plots have average 1ft between them but you must allow access to your own, on your own plot. Pathways are generally 4ft wide all the way round. ELECTRICITY ; There are electricitity points avail on SOME indoor plot, if you need it, must be sorted out at booking stage, NO long extension cables.
OUTDOOR £10, per plot/date. on the lawned area to the front of the hall. 13ft square plot to erect your own gazebo on the grass to the front of the hall, within the markers given. Fill it how you like. Nothing included regards table etc , you must bring everything you need. ACCESS this area has two small garden gates, one near the drive into the hall and the other opposite end. you can access the other one from the car park, there's a long strip of grassed land that runs behind the hall, around 6ft wide. No electricity points outside.
- TRADING; Open to the public 3pm to 8pm. Set up anytme after 1.30pm and leave hall before 9pm. You are expected to be set up ready to sell at 3pm. If you do not intend to stay 'open' until 8pm, do not book. Strictly NO early pack ups. Please see my terms and conditions , link below, before booking, as booking/payment is acceptance.
- RUBBISH: Take your rubbish home with you please.
- PROMOTION: As a stallholder you WILL BE EXPECTED to share the poster and promote the event as much as possible, not just once.
INSURANCE You must have Public Lliability Cover/Product liability cover. if you need some advice in this regards, get in touch.
OPEN TO Businesses and Craft producers. Preference generally given to Local traders.

- BOOKING. Please make a note of the DATE & PLOT options youre interested in and YOU MUST visit and read our TERMS & CONDITIONS page for booking procedure, cancellation policy, also what I expect from you and what you can expect from me. ONLY PAYMENT will secure your booking. You must have a booking reference to make payment, if you don't have a booking reference you mustn't pay. Please follow the simple procedure laid out, its to protect everyone from any bookings/dates/plots confusion.
LOADING UNLOADING INDOOR You can access the hall via their fire exit straight from the car park or up the ramp into the main doors. OUTDOOR plot. There are two small garden gates, one from the hall driveway and one opposite side, which allows access all along the back of the hall into the car park.
- PARKING once set up, you would be asked to move your vehicle to the overflow carpark right next door (masonic Lodge) to make as much room for visitors as poss) you can retrieve your vehicle when you're ready to pack up.

FACILILTIES: Disabled access ramp to main entrance & disabled loo just inside the main door. There is no WIFI although you may be able to pick up the wifi from the pub across the road. Personally I use a vodaphone MiFi device and have never had an issue.
